Non Working Supervisor – Fire SprinklersMitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services invites applications for the role of Non Working Supervisor – Fire Sprinklers. The position is based in the Greater London Area and will work on projects across the UK.Location & HoursGreater London Area – on‑site projects40 hours per week, Monday – Friday site hoursSalary will depend on experienceAbout the CompanyArgus Fire, launched in 1982, is now part of the Mitie Group. We design, install, and maintain all types of automatically operating fire extinguishing systems and electronically activated fire detection and alarm systems for large projects and small standalone products. The company invests heavily in apprenticeships and continuous development.Operating ContextWorking under a Site Manager and in conjunction with the Project Manager and Project Engineer on fabrication and installation of sprinkler pipe‑work projects.Key ResponsibilitiesKeep records of installation progress and monitor against program of worksFabricate and install sprinkler pipe‑workMaintain up‑to‑date site records, including site diaryRead drawings and ensure work is in accordance with Argus Fire designs and quality expectationsMaintain compliance on site with issued and approved method statements and risk assessmentsAssist with testing and commissioningSupervise and assist mates and/or traineesEssential Skills & RequirementsKnowledge of construction sitesUnderstanding of sprinkler installations, with previous experience in fire sprinkler installationsWorks well in a teamValid CSCS CardSSSTS (Preferred, not essential)Sprinkler NVQ Level 2 (Preferred, not essential)BenefitsCompetitive salary25 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany pensionLife insuranceEmployee assistance programAdditional benefits include flexible lifestyle benefits platform (Choices), cycle‑to‑work scheme, high‑street discounts via MiDeals, salary finance options, enhanced pension contributions, Mitie “Stars” recognition and potential free shares.
