Job Title: Asbestos Removal SupervisorLocation: London, Greater London.Salary / Benefits £135 – £200 Day rate + Benefits A professional and multi-disciplined Environmental outfit are currently looking to take on a proactive and organised Asbestos Removal Supervisor to cover contracts across the South East / London region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing, and directing non- licenced projects across Housing sites. Candidates will have good access to London / M25 corridor and the surrounding areas: Ilford, Barking, Hornchurch, Romford, Rainham, Grays, Tilbury, Gravesend, Dartford, Erith, Sidcup, Orpington, Bromley, Sevenoaks, Caterham, Redhill, Horley, Crawley, Croydon, Mitcham, Sutton, Epsom, Canvey Island, South Benfleet, Billericay, Basildon, Wickford, Chelmsford, Enfield, Cheshunt, Harlow, Hatfield, St Albans, Watford. Experience & Qualifications Will have experience working as an Asbestos Removal Supervisor for a reputable Asbestos Removal outfit. Will hold the Supervisor ticket. Excellent practical knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines. Confident in producing and amending site specific RAMS. Ability to communicate well via phone / email / face-to-face. Asbestos Awareness training would be beneficial to the role. The Role Attending Housing sites to oversee and managing asbestos removal for non-licenced projects. Working closely with clients to confirm and arrange time frames for work to be carried out. Organising own and staff schedule, assigning site staff to projects in line with company and client needs. Providing operatives with the correct PPE and equipment so they can carry out projects safely and efficiently. Creating site specific RAMS, ensuring to amend when required. Attending site to make sure work is being carried out in line with Health and Safety requirements, ensuring they would pass HSE audits. Maintaining own equipment and arranging maintenance when required to ensure safety. Liaising with clients, dealing with queries and providing excellent support and advice when required.
