* Advertised from 5th November 2025* This role is initially for a 12-month fixed term contract.#### RoleWe are recruiting for the newly created post of Supervising Counsellor to supervise students on placement and carry asmall client caseload.Our new Right There Counselling Academy will extend student placement counselling to Young People (12+) and adults.The is a development role, working closely with the Head of Children and Families and partner universities toembed this exciting new service.This role is initially for a 12-month fixed term contract.**Main duties and responsibilities will include:*** Provide 1:1 and group supervision for postgraduate student counsellors* Oversee supervisee casework to ensure safe, ethical and effective practise* Hold a small counselling caseload, offering person-centred support for young people (12+) and adults* Complete assessments, formulations, and risk management plans* Ensure compliance with BACP, HCPC and organisation ethical frameworks* Take a lead for child and adult protection for placement students**Our values make us who we are and define our actions and behaviours every day. You will alsosupport the admin supervisor on planning works for the internal team while providing feedback on contractorperformance.**Main duties and responsibilities will include:*** Scope void properties, carrying out a detailed review of the property with clear guidance on category rating* Advise on works required to bring void properties back to agreed standard* Phase works and advise if there are any barriers to stop completion of works in agreed deadlines* Plan all works and parts requires, advise of any parts that can be purchased in advance* Liaise with the Administration Supervisor on completion of works* Review status of all properties undergoing any works at weekly meetings with Property Maintenance & Health and Safety Manager* Coordinate replacement of any items taken from voids at initial clear out ensuring complete inventory and recycle/upcycle where possible* Lead the internal maintenance field team with a clear focus on delivery performance and outcome attainment to deliver all the required works to return void properties back to Short Term Housing as soon as possible* Build and maintain strong relationships with the field team, feeding back on performance and highlight where there are skills gaps**Our values make us who we are and define our actions and behaviours every day.
