The role of the Development Underwriter is to support the development plan for brokers across the North West and South / South East regions by working with our Underwriting and Distribution teams to further enhance our growth plans. We arrange our business into five channels, with the NMUK Broker Channel the largest and fastest growing of our UK business areas. Our broker engagement and subsequently pipeline and new business volumes have increased exponentially.In order to focus on delivering exceptional support and ensure delivery on our growth ambitions, we segment the UK broker population into three categories: strategic, key, development and Connect. The Development Underwriter is required to build and maintain strong broker relationships, and provide excellent service to brokers. The Development Underwriter will have a strong desire to be highly visible to brokers, encouraging development meetings and telephone contact.
