Who are we looking forWe're looking for a passionate SEN Business & Retail Tutor to support learners in developing the skills, confidence and knowledge they need to progress into work, further education or training. You'll provide 1:1 and group sessions delivering engaging, tailored support that meets the needs of every learner. Job Title:SEN Business & Retail Tutor Location:Ipswich Working Hours:8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday 1-hour lunch unpaid 37.5 hours per week. This contract can be term-time only if this is a requirement of yours (38 weeks plus 4 weeks) or full-time. Contract Type:Perm Reports to:Centre Manager Salary Band:UnqualifiedQualifiedper annum Qualifications:Qualified to DTLLS / Cert Ed / PGCE or equivalent (desirable)Qualified to PTLLS / AET or equivalent (essential)GCSE or equivalent in English and maths at grade C / 4 or above (essential)Business and Retail (experience and qualifications are essential)Employability (experience is essential)Assessor qualification (desirable) Main Tasks & Responsibilities:Deliver engaging Entry Level and Level 1 retail and business sessions to individuals and groupsSupport learners to develop CVs, interview skills, job applications and work-related skillsLesson planning schemes of work and Individual Student Plans (ISPs)Mark assess and set targets for learners to develop knowledge and skills through their programmeMonitor learner progress and provide feedback to learners parents and parents / professionals where appropriate Plan educational visits and work-related activities:Follow and promote safeguarding health & safety confidentiality and data protection policiesSupport and teach young people who have ASD ADHD Dyslexia OCD Tourettes and other neurodivergent needs and challenging behaviour Who are we:TCHC Group has been creating opportunities since 2004 supporting young people and adults to learn achieve and progress.
