The Role This role is about supporting our lawyers in providing exceptional legal service to clients. The role involves organising filing systems, managing client communication, and preparing legal documents, as well as handling mail and providing administrative support to lawyers. It's ideal for someone early in their legal career, requiring c.1-2 years of experience. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking are essential, along with discretion in handling sensitive information. Key responsibilities Oversee and maintain physical and digital filing systems Quality assure and supervise the handling of calls, emails, and correspondence with clients on behalf of lawyers Review and improve existing processes Apply technology and automation to established processes to allow for efficiency whilst future proofing our foundations Be an escalation point for the team who process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail Assist lawyers in case management and document preparation People manage the team Experience required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in legal studies, paralegal studies, or related field Experience of working in a legal setting Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures Excellent organizational and time management skills Experience in optimising processes and procedures Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and work under pressure Discretion in handling sensitive information Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Desirable Knowledge/Experience working with local councils or housing associations Knowledge/Experience working within a law centre or pro bono charity Knowledge/Experience in family law & private client UK Benefits: ✈️ 34 Holidays (25 days annual leave + your birthday off + bank hols in England) 💰 Equity (Share Options) 💰 Pension ⛳️ Regular team building activities and socials 💷 20% off legal fees through Lawhive US Benefits: 🩺 Healthcare benefits: 'Premium' plan with 100% employee cover and 50% dependent cover ✈️ Vacation: 20 days + 11 Federal holidays + 1 day of Birthday leave 💰 401k: Matching contribution up to 2% of salary 💰 Equity: Options in Lawhive LTD #J-18808-Ljbffr
