Trainee High Intensity Therapist (High Intensity CBT) South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust An exciting opportunity to join Kingston Talking Therapies in the role of Trainee High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. The role works alongside a multidisciplinary team including cognitive behavioural therapists, clinical psychologists, psychotherapists, and PWPs, delivering NICE-approved high intensity interventions for depression and anxiety disorders in a stepped care model. Responsibilities Provide high intensity CBT and other cognitive behavioural interventions to adults and young people with depression and anxiety. Conduct clinical assessments, risk management and maintain therapeutic relationships. Work within the stepped care model and collaborate with team members. Maintain case records and contribute to clinical team meetings. Qualifications Approved basic professional qualification in an appropriate profession (e.g., psychology, psychiatry, nursing). Registered with the relevant professional regulatory body. Experience working in a therapeutic role with clinical assessment and risk management. If currently a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, at least 2 years of post‑qualification experience. Less than 2 years post‑qualification: not eligible for interview. Applicants without a BABCP recognised core profession must enter via the KSA route and submit a portfolio of evidence.
