Trainee High‑Intensity CBT Therapist – North London NHS Foundation Trust We offer an intensive training role within the Talking Therapies Service. The post‑holder will work three days a week providing high‑intensity interventions while attending a CBT training programme on the other two days. Roles & Responsibilities Provide assessment and treatment of adults with anxiety and depression. Offer advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to referrers, family members and carers. Work within the service three days per week, providing 1‑hour evening session (12‑8 pm) once a week. Engage with the Post Graduate Diploma in CBT programme at Royal Holloway. Training & Development The role leads to a Post Graduate Diploma in CBT. The training programme runs in central London and is provided by Royal Holloway. Basic Requirements Suitable applicants: Clinical and counselling psychologists, occupational therapists, psychiatric nurses, social workers, and psychological well‑being practitioners. PwPs must have at least 2 years full‑time post‑qualification experience. Applicants from other professions must complete the KSA route and submit a portfolio of evidence. Relevant experience delivering psychological therapies to adult clients. Knowledge of CBT and primary‑care experience desirable. Personal Qualities & Skills Highly motivated and organised, able to prioritise own workload. Experience working in IAPT services or comparable settings. Willingness to work remotely at any location across Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington. Contract & Terms This is a fixed‑term, 12‑month training contract.
