ERP Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description The ERP Supply Chain Analyst at LGC plays a key role in supporting and improving our ERP platform (IFS cloud, IFS Apps9, Cedar Bay, Codesoft, Exstream) throughout global supply chain operations. The role ensures alignment between business requirements and ERP functionalities by collaborating with senior users, business analysts, and external suppliers. Responsibilities Provide expert-level support to users and collaborators in the effective use of the ERP systems, focusing on IFS supply chain modules and inter-company processes. Lead liaison for supply chain business users across the group, ensuring swift resolution of support concerns and promoting system adoption. Collaborate with solution architects, technical teams, and external suppliers to build and deliver system improvements that align with business objectives. Investigate and resolve complex functional and technical issues, using deep knowledge of IFS (Version 9 or higher) and basic PL/SQL tools. Support rollout of new modules and implementations across LGC sites, contributing to development, testing, training, and post-deployment support. Develop and maintain clear documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, build proposals, and change logs. Contribute to ERP solution management, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with internal standards and regulatory frameworks. Participate in peer reviews and discovery workshops, providing functional insight and opportunities for process optimization. Monitor and analyze system usage and performance, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and user experience. Translate technical concepts into business language and vice versa, communicating effectively across teams. Commit to ongoing professional growth in the supply chain modules managed by the ERP team. Qualifications Knowledge Comprehensive knowledge of IFS ERP systems, especially Version 9 and later. Solid grasp of global inter-company supply chain processes. Familiarity with ERP implementation methodologies and change management. Awareness of regulatory standards such as GxP, ISO, and internal governance frameworks. Experience Demonstrable experience supporting and improving IFS ERP systems in a global environment. Capability to independently address complex functional and solution challenges. Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams, solution architects, business analysts, technical developers, and external vendors. Track record of contributing to ERP module rollouts and system upgrades. Experience in user training, collaborator engagement, and driving system adoption. Technical Skills Basic skills in PL/SQL and other SQL-based tools for data analysis and troubleshooting. Competence in using internal business systems and support tools. Strong documentation skills for functional specifications and change logs. Comfortable working with integration tools and APIs within the IFS ecosystem.
