Management Accountant - 12 month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) Join TP ICAP as a Management Accountant to support our London‑based Cost Management team in the EMEA region. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave. Role Overview In this role you will manage various accounting functions, including accrual processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and procurement financials, while supporting month‑end close and budgeting. Responsibilities Assist the Cost Management team to produce the month‑end Support Function Flash result reporting. Manage the Discretionary Bonus accrual process and associated Balance Sheet reconciliations. Manage Share‑Based Payment and Save As Your Earn accounting entries and associated Balance Sheet reconciliations. Manage Recruitment, Severance and Legal fee accruals and associated Balance Sheet reconciliations. Partner with Procurement on financials of new contracts and renewals and act as a purchase order approver for designated function cost centres. Analyse Workday headcount, working with HR and functions to ensure accurate monthly reporting. Review and update support function cost allocations and complete an annual sign‑off with appropriate stakeholders. Work with the Cost Management team to provide audit samples to external auditors and resolve queries. Assist with annual forecast and budget requirements. Fulfil additional ad hoc duties as required. Essential Experience & Competences Knowledge of accounting for accruals and prepayments. Experience with balance sheet reconciliations. Intermediate level Excel skills. Ability to manage multiple deliverables for month‑end close. Strong attention to detail. Effective communication across different levels of stakeholder seniority. Desired Experience working in a financial services environment. Experience with compensation accounting. Job Details Location: UK – 135 Bishopsgate, London. Role Band & Level: Professional, 5.
