Job Details Annual salary: up to £55,000, plus Company Vehicle or Car Allowance and Great Company Benefits Location: Remote covering a belt across the UK – Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Gloucester and Caerphilly (or adjacent areas near Birmingham, Northampton, Oxford, Luton) Contract: Full time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 08:00‑16:30) Valid UK Driving Licence required About The Role The Regional SHE Manager will provide competent advice and support to operational and administrative teams, implementing and taking responsibility for all aspects of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) on contracts covering construction and non‑construction activities within the Branch. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring compliance with policy, procedures and systems; supporting all staff. Reporting non‑compliance to managers and instilling a strong health and safety culture among staff and subcontractors. Meeting KPI targets, including completing compliance audits and producing detailed reports with findings and action plans. Delivering formal training to the wider team, with a Level 3 qualification in training considered an advantage. Communicating effectively at all levels within the Group and with subcontractors; contributing to initiatives that drive the SHE strategy forward. Regular travel to support field‑based teams across Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Gloucester and Caerphilly. Role Criteria Minimum NEBOSH Certificate / NEBOSH Construction Certificate Experience in construction H&S Experience in Social Housing Valid UK Driving Licence Current knowledge of health and safety legislation; good working practices essential. Experience and understanding of health and safety issues in a property maintenance / management setting. A team player with a pro‑active, positive can‑do attitude. Self‑initiative, confidence, decisiveness, enthusiasm, reliability, patience, approachability, and a willingness to develop self and others.
