Music Instructor – Piano (ID: ABC12721) – Aberdeen City Council Job Purpose Deliver tuition on piano to pupils in primary and secondary schools across the city and contribute to ensemble provision. Location Muirfield School, Aberdeen Duration Fixed Term, Full Time PVG Membership With effect from 1 April 2023, PVG membership cost will be borne by the Council for eligible roles. Candidates may incur this cost before formal offer if required. Key Responsibilities Deliver music tuition at school level. Support the curriculum for Excellence and contribute to SQA and other award-bearing courses. Collaborate with ensembles and other musical activities. Minimum Requirements Recognised National Music Degree or Diploma. PVG Membership for regulated work with children and/or protected adults, or willingness to obtain prior to offer. Desirable Qualifications Experience delivering tuition to primary and secondary pupils.
