Year in Industry Placement | Functional Pharmacology Location of role Oxford, UK Department Oncology Research Key Responsibilities Establishing methodologies for the preparation of patient‑derived tumour samples for use in in‑vitro assays, and optimizing culture conditions to preserve tissue viability and functionality. Developing appropriate end‑point readouts using techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, transcriptomics, immunofluorescent staining and imaging. Performing quantitative analysis and visualisation of experimental data, and interpreting results in the context of project objectives. Presenting experimental plans, results and conclusions in regular team meetings and data discussions. Education & Qualifications Currently studying towards a degree in Biological Sciences, Biomedicine, Immunology, Biotechnology, (Bio)Chemistry or a related field. What will you receive?
