Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeDirect message the job poster from Travel Trade RecruitmentSenior Account Manager at Travel Trade RecruitmentDo you prefer dealing with back-office amendments instead of working toward sales targets?Do you have experience using a GDS, ticketing including reissuing?We are excited to be working with this well-established and reputable Luxury Tour Operator who is seeking a Sales Support Executive to join their team, due to growth of the business.As a Sales Support Executive you will be dealing with post booking enquiries, ensuring the smooth running of booking from start to finish and assisting with any booking issues.This is a great move for someone who is already working for a Tour Operator with previous experience in a similar sales support, operations or back-office role.If you are looking for a new challenge, to further your operational experience and be rewarded with a competitive salary, flexibility to work remotely along with great working hours, please apply nowJOB DESCRIPTION:Ensuring the smooth running of booking from start to finish to eliminate errors.Liaising with Travel Agents/clients and assisting with any booking issues.Monitoring GDS queues and removing dummy bookings.Ensuring travel documents are updated and dispatched on time.Assisting sales team with operational problems such as BA strikes and foreign office advice.Gathering any missing client information, client contact, dob, frequent flyer etc.Advising Travel Agent with flight schedule changes.Checking funds have been received in order to ticket flights.Offering Concierge services to clients including pre-booking spa treatments, dinner. reservations and children's clubs, airport lounges etc.Handling special request from VIP clients such as bottles of wine request and welcome letters.Booking transfers, EK/UL chauffeur, restaurants and excursions.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Current experience within the travel industry is essentialExperience working within operations for a Tour OperatorExperience using a GDS is essential (preferably Galileo but happy to cross train)Excellent attention to detailAbility to multi-task and work to deadlinesTHE PACKAGE & HOURS:Fully homeworking (occasional travel to the London office for training and meetings)Monday - Thursday: 09-17:30 & Friday: 09- 17:00INTERESTED?Please follow the instructions to apply attaching your CV For any further information please call 0203 8879444 or email regis@traveltraderecruitment.co.uk If this role is not quite right, but you have Travel Industry experience and are keen to find a new opportunity, please do send your CV, we may have something else that could be perfect for you Know someone else who might be interested in Travel Industry opportunities?
