Job Title: 1 : 1 SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Derby Pay Rate: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time “Provide Personalised Support and Make a Real Difference” GSL Education are seeking a patient and dedicated 1 : 1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Derby. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with a pupil who requires additional support, helping them access learning, build confidence, and develop key social and emotional skills. Role Responsibility of 1 : 1 SEN TA : Provide personalised 1 : 1 support to a pupil with additional needs. Assist in implementing tailored learning and behaviour support plans. Encourage engagement, independence, and positive communication. Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and parents to ensure consistent support. Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. What You’ll Bring as a 1 : 1 SEN TA : Experience supporting children with SEN (in school or care settings). A calm, empathetic, and encouraging attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Patience, resilience, and commitment to personalised learning. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
