Fire Extinguisher Technician Join Marlowe Fire & Security as a Fire Extinguisher Technician in the South West (BH, SO, SP & surrounding areas). Marlowe Fire & Security is the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK, specialising in design, supply, installation, maintenance and monitoring of fire protection systems across the country. Compensation: Competitive salary with an OTE of £38,000‑£40,000, including basic pay, overtime, travel time and commission. Pension and life assurance are also included. Provide exceptional service and maintenance of fire extinguishers, hose reels and fire suppression systems for a diverse range of local clients. Install, service and maintain portable fire extinguishers, hose reels and kitchen fire suppression systems. Adhere to current industry standards and customer specifications. Plan and conduct service visits efficiently to meet customer needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Manage equipment and vehicle stock effectively. Contribute to a professional team environment while maintaining high service standards. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in the maintenance and servicing of fire extinguishers. Relevant qualifications such as BAFE, FETA or equivalent certification. Background in mechanical fire service or related technical fields. Strong customer service skills with clear and professional communication. Capability to work independently and diagnose & resolve issues confidently. Willingness to travel as required and participate in ongoing training. Experience with additional mechanical fire systems is highly advantageous. A valid driver’s licence is required.
