**Fresh** has an exciting opportunity available for a **Maintenance Technician**to join our team at **Oxford Road** based in **Bournemouth**. You will join on a full time, permanent basis in return for a competitive salary of **£20,000** per annum.

**About the Maintenance Technician role**:
As our **Maintenance Technician,**you are critical to the success of our buildings and the experience of our tenants. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a key part of the Accommodation Team delivering excellent customer-focused servicewithin the building ensuring our tenants receive a professional maintenance service.

You will undertake minor reactive works such as electrical, plumbing and joinery along with planned works such as redecoration, grounds maintenance and waste management and will also play a key part in the periodic compliance testing of the installed systemssuch as fire alarm tests, water testing, lift checks etc.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30-17:00

**Responsibilities of our Maintenance Technician include**:

- Completion and recording of a planned health and safety testing e.g. Fire Safety, Emergency Lighting, Legionella in a timely and effective manner
- Completion of identified minor repair works across the property as advised by residents and the broader property team in a timely manner
- Induction and supervision of contractors appointed to undertake planned and reactive works across the property
- Completion of permit to works and ensuring compliance with method statements
- Repair and make good of minor damage and wear and tear to paintwork and woodwork to ensure that the appearance of the building is maintained to a high standard
- Monitor plant and equipment to ensure that it operates correctly and in line with expectations
- Maintenance of the soft landscape areas including weed control, trimming
- Maintenance of hard landscape including pressure washing and litter picking
- Maintenance of the bin store by the rotation of bins, preparation for collections, maximising recycling opportunities and ensuring the area is clean and tidy
- Undertake regular inspections of gym equipment
- Escalate all issues which are beyond capability and capacity to the General Manager at the earliest opportunity.
