Library Accessibility Specialist (Maternity Cover) (78097-1125) Be among the first 25 applicants. The University of Warwick is seeking to appoint a Library Accessibility Specialist post in the Customer Services team for maternity cover lasting 8-9 months. The role follows the standard University working week (09:00–17:30 Monday‑Thursday, 09:00–16:30 Friday). Because the Library operates 7 days a week and beyond core hours, attendance at site to support Library teams or customers, as well as the Customer Service team and staff events such as Open Days and Welcome Week, will be required as agreed with the post holder. Responsibilities Act as the central point of contact for Library services, providing advice and support for disabled students. Promote best practice in the provision of inclusive services. Raise awareness of accessibility issues within the Library. Qualifications and Experience Experience of working with disability and supporting young people in a further or higher education environment. Degree level education or equivalent. Excellent communication skills and aptitude for information technology. Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, working adaptably and flexibly to promote inclusive practice.
