We believe that our strengths come from our differences, and we actively invest in recruiting and retaining a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the communities we serve.As an Operations Support Agent you be working in a fast paced environment and adhere to strict timelines.Working hours: 40 hoursShift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 05:00-13:30 30 Minute BreakSalary: £14.02 Per hourYou will be responsible for the following:Answering incoming calls from customers in relation to collection requests, along with delivery queries.Sorting and allocating premium and distance deliveries.Checking and investigating (when needed) failed deliveries/collections.Prioritising and re-allocating failures for the next day delivery as required.Using the Customer Delivery Option system to effectively manage customer requests.Allocating collections to routes as required.Inputting data into our tracking system.Maintaining clear and effective communications/collaboration with the team/managers and other depots.Following FedEx processes, procedures and controls. As well as external regulatory requirements.Completing daily reports within time frames.You will also provide support to your supervisor, office/warehouse team and drivers as required within the location, whilst complying with all local and corporate legal requirements and ensuring the safe and secure movement of all freight.Being part of the team you’ll ensure that customers' urgent packages get to the right place, on time.
