Join to apply for the One Stop - Customer Service Assistant role at One Stop Stores Ltd. We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. In this fast‑paced retail environment, you will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and maintaining the store’s appearance. You will be responsible for Providing great natural service by knowing and serving customers with passion. Encouraging customers to give feedback through the ‘have your say’ survey. Working across all areas of the store (online, tills, replenishment, vending, stock routines) to meet customer needs. Putting into practice training to ensure safe working practices. Participating in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere. Being knowledgeable about store performance and contributing to profit delivery. Living company values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies. Clocking in and out at shift start and end for accurate pay. Keeping safety and security procedures followed, wearing safety equipment where available. Following the Think 25 policy when serving age‑restricted products to all customers. Responding quickly to assistance calls or interventions on self‑service checkouts, explaining actions to the customer. Maintaining a clean, tidy, organised store, keeping aisles clear of congestion. Running the shift in the absence of the Shift Leader or Store Manager when required. Following all training to keep the store safe and legal. If the store has a Post Office Local, carrying out day‑to‑day post office operations and passing the required background check; failure to pass will result in withdrawal of the job offer.
