Overview We're already a successful college, but we're continually striving to be better and do better - be part of our story In the role of Pastoral Support Services Coordinator you'll be based across multiple sites and your focus will be on ensuring an excellent pastoral service across various teams. Responsibilities Supporting the quality assurance of the interventions carried out by the Pastoral Mentors and Mentors for Apprentices Line management of relevant posts within Safeguarding and Behaviour Department Collaboration with all college teams to ensure the delivery of high impact support for 'at risk' students Qualifications Ideally, have a teaching qualification and formal qualification in the area of mental health and/or trauma informed practice (or be able to prove equivalent ability) Demonstrable experience of working with young people in an educational setting Ability to make effective use of tracking systems to identify themes and to work collaboratively with others to improve practice Demonstrate College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role Other Requirements Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults Benefits Staff development opportunities include a mentoring scheme, financial contributions for external qualifications and skills development for current and aspiring managers.
