Position Overview Reporting to the Director of Bid Management & Support, the Bid Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, compelling proposals that help the organisation secure and retain work across a diverse client base. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading complex bids from qualification through to contract award. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end bid process, ensuring compliance with internal Business Winning procedures and Shipley best practices. Develop bid strategies, manage resources, and oversee proposal preparation to deliver winning submissions on time. Assemble and guide multi-disciplinary bid teams, collaborating with stakeholders across sales, delivery, finance, legal, and external partners. Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring exceptional quality and timely progress through reviews and approvals. Implement and enhance bid governance, contributing to continuous improvement and the sharing of best practices across the business. Experience / Skills / Qualifications Proven track record in bid and proposal management, ideally within Defence, Aerospace, or other highly regulated fields. Minimum of 5 years' experience managing complex bids. Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and commercial awareness. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and compliant proposals. Advanced proficiency in MS Office and exceptional organisational skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
