Quick jobs or tough jobs – we get it sorted. What You’ll Be DoingYou will develop and execute a sales action plan that exceeds budget performance through a proactive sales approach. You will support the integration of Hire into the wider Travis Perkins branch, enhancing knowledge of services available to Branch colleagues. You will coach and train the team, manage stock, drive customer service and motivate the Hire team. Develop a winning sales action plan and drive results beyond targets. Co‑operate with the Branch Manager to level up the team on all tool hire. Ensure all tools and equipment are safe, ready for action and maintain equipment safety. Balance stock levels to meet demand and keep kits available. Oversee the day‑to‑day of the Hire team, train, supervise and motivate for performance. Offer smart solutions and upsell to boost sales – be the go‑to for customer queries. Communicate with daily toolbox talks and quick, effective communication. Who You’re A Good Fit For Experience in tool or plant hire or a leadership role; sales or customer service experience is welcomed. Strong leadership, inspiring and keeping the team moving. Focused on safety – ensuring equipment and work environment is safe. Proactive and thrives in a fast‑paced environment, always improving.
