As a 3rd Line IT Engineer, you will be proficient at delivering advanced technical support, handling complex incidents, and maintaining the efficient operation of clients’ IT infrastructure. You’ll play a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving high-level technical challenges, implementing new technologies, and contributing to ongoing improvement efforts. This role is a hybrid role, and you may be required to attend customer sites. Key Responsibilities Provide 3 rd Line Support, managing complex Incident and Problem resolutions. Key technical resource for any client Change Requests. Fast and efficient response to Major Incidents, by leading from a technical standpoint. Mentor and guide engineers from within our 1 st Line & 2 nd Line Teams when required. Act as a role model for junior engineers. Keep up to date with the latest technologies and products. Ensure that Knowledge Base documentation is accurate and kept up to date. Deep technical understanding of Windows Server and Client Operating Systems. Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Networking. Maintain awareness of and follow Chorus company procedures and guidelines, including security, regulatory and quality related matters. Comply with all relevant legislative and legal requirements, including industry regulations, employment law, Data Protection and Health and Safety. Demonstrate behaviours that promote our values. Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested. Personal Specification Required Demonstrated experience working at a 3 rd Line level for at least 1 year, ideally 2+ years. Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills Be able to deliver exceptional customer service. Positive attitude with a ‘can do’ approach. Ability to remain calm in a pressured environment. Reliable, good work ethic and willingness to learn. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong desire to expand knowledge and stay ahead of the latest changes and technologies with a Microsoft, cloud‑first focus. At least one of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate. Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate. Desired Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification. Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert certification. Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Speciality certification.
