Advanced Mental Health Practitioner – Children in Care | Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Are you an experienced RGN or Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable children by working alongside other services to get the best outcome? The CAMHS CiC is established to ensure that children who are in care receive quicker access to mental health support. We do thisby working in partnership and sharing knowledge, to effectively meet theirs and their carers needs by providing evidenced based interventions. In this role you will be working in a trauma informed model across multiple agencies and services. You will support in: trauma informed care, creating stability of the Child or Young person’s home placement, maintaining relationships with family members, reaching as high as possible education achievements, creating local social networks and fostering strong relationships. This is a unique opportunity to be part of and contribute to a newly developing and innovative service. You will receive direct clinical supervision from an experienced Clinical Psychologist as well as having the opportunity to gain experience in mentalisation based approaches as well as systemic ways of working.
