Are you an experienced RGN or Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable children by working alongside other services to get the best outcome? The CAMHS CiC is established to ensure that children who are in care receive quicker access to mental health support. We do thisby working in partnership and sharing knowledge, to effectively meet theirs and their carers needs by providing evidenced based interventions. In this role you will be working in a trauma informed model across multiple agencies and services. You will support in: trauma informed care, creating stability of the Child or Young person’s home placement, maintaining relationships with family members, reaching as high as possible education achievements, creating local social networks and fostering strong relationships. This is a unique opportunity to be part of and contribute to a newly developing and innovative service. You will receive direct clinical supervision from an experienced Clinical Psychologist as well as having the opportunity to gain experience in mentalisation based approaches as well as systemic ways of working. Consultation - offering advice, information and support to young people, carers, and professionals Providing Training to carers and professionals Clinical assessments for young people. High and low intensity, evidence-based therapeutic interventions (individual, group, family, as appropriate) Joint working with partner agencies, including Mental Health Support Teams, Early Help, Youth Offending Teams, other Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Use of routine outcome measures to promote active participation from young people and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions Supervision, as appropriate to role Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is a specialist mental health and community health services trust.
