This is a rare opportunity to join a long-term, strategically funded programme that’s building a next-generation cloud platform set to replace legacy ERP systems across a multi-billion-pound group. This is a role where you’ll have a direct impact on architecture, environments, tooling, and how AWS is used at scale across the business. The Opportunity This organisation is in year four of a 10-year transformation programme supported by ownership-level investment. The new platform is being built in phases and will ultimately power operations across multiple business units. The platform is close to general release, and now they’re expanding the cloud engineering capability to support production rollout and ongoing development. You’ll report directly to the Engineering Manager and play a key role in getting the environment production-ready, maturing the cloud setup, and evolving the infrastructure as the platform scales. What You’ll Be Doing Owning and developing the AWS cloud environment for a newly built platform. Working with Terraform and IaC to maintain and evolve infrastructure. Using AWS CDK to support ongoing platform development. Supporting production readiness, environment builds, and cloud best practices. Collaborating closely with engineering teams to shape infrastructure architecture. Working on a greenfield product for a sister entity while still being employed within the main group.
