The Role As a Breakfast Club Childcare Assistant, you will actively and enthusiastically assist the Breakfast Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the Breakfast Club at our NEW club at Southfield Primary School in Chiswick. Responsibilities Assisting the Breakfast Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the Breakfast Club at our NEW club at Southfield Primary School in Chiswick, opening after the Summer Holidays Assisting in the preparation, serving and tidying away of the children's breakfast Being aware of and maintaining sensitivity for any children with additional needs (Physical, Behaviour, Dietary) Actively developing a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding Ensuring all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day Ideal for someone with experience of working in a Primary School, Pre‑School or Nursery, e.g. a Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator or Nursery Assistant, or someone looking to move into the childcare industry Skills & Experience Passion/interest in working within a childcare, early years or playwork setting Inspirational, bringing fun and creativeness to the team Fun and energetic nature Reliable and passionate over everything else Ability to relate and engage with children aged between 4‑11 years People person with fantastic communication skills Eligible for an enhanced DBS check Opportunities to gain qualifications and further growth & development available for candidates who match our ambitions Full training and inductions will be provided to all Breakfast Club Assistants Company Benefits Company pension, discounted childcare, holiday pay, social activities, professional development, career progression & recognisable qualifications nationwide.
