Role Overview As an After School Club Playwork Childcare Supervisor you will have overall responsibility for the day‑to‑day operations of our new club at Southfield Primary School in Chiswick. You will manage a small team, ensuring the club runs safely and organised, and will directly supervise, deliver and participate in activities with the children in your care. Responsibilities Overall management of the after‑school club, opening after the summer holidays. Print and maintain daily registers, ensuring a safe sign‑in / sign‑out process each day and communicating with school staff and parents. Develop a thorough understanding of the KOOSA Kids programme, delivering activities accordingly and directing colleagues as appropriate. Be aware of and respond to children with additional needs (physical, behavioural, dietary). Purchase healthy snacks for the club. Actively understand Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids policies, including safeguarding, and raise concerns to the Safeguarding Officer promptly. Ensure the club operates in accordance with Ofsted and KOOSA Kids policies at all times. Carry out daily risk assessments and complete all relevant operational paperwork. Maintain clean and tidy activity areas, carrying out cleaning duties as necessary. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 2 years of managerial / supervisory experience in a childcare, early years or playwork setting. A Level 3 NVQ / Diploma in Childcare or Playwork (or equivalent) is beneficial but not essential. Experience working in a primary school, pre‑school or nursery (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator, Nursery Manager). Reliable, passionate, and able to relate and engage with children aged 4‑11. Opportunities for further qualification and professional development will be provided for the right candidate.
