Position We are searching for an experienced Client Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring proactive, excellent service and revenue growth. The role involves being the main point of contact for client contract managers, trustees and senior stakeholders, developing relationships, providing technical advice, negotiating contractual arrangements and identifying commercial opportunities. Key Responsibilities Support clients by providing technical advice and guidance on pensions administration. Oversee and report on client projects and day‑to‑day operational service. Participate in devising and delivering competitive and profitable commercial proposals. Attend trustee and client meetings to present reports and updates. Keep internal stakeholders informed of client feedback and strategic plans. Ensure timely provision of management information, including client service reports. Develop positive working relationships with operational teams and internal stakeholders, resolving issues and managing projects. Act as an escalation point for client or member issues, recommending solutions. Be proactive in bringing industry developments, service enhancements and innovations to clients. Participate in new business presentations. Host, lead meetings, take minutes and maintain trustee documentation as part of the trustee secretariat. Ensure project delivery complies with AAF01/06, ISO27001 and other internal standards. Understand key policies in the business continuity strategy and support BCMS implementation if required. Requirements Professional Qualities Bachelor's degree or equivalent A‑level and relevant industry qualification. At least 5 years of pensions administration experience in client‑facing roles across schemes of all sizes. PMI qualified or equivalent. Strong knowledge of UK pensions legislation, regulations and guidance. Ability to be credible and convincing in front of clients, trustees and decision‑makers. Capability to understand complex issues and handle challenging questions with credibility and ease. Strong prioritisation skills, managing competing demands. Excellent presentation skills, able to clearly explain complex concepts. Strong MS Office skills. Capability to act as an ambassador for Trafalgar House. Personal Qualities Highly disciplined, organised and self‑managed, able to work independently. Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships. High personal drive and ambition. Articulate, with a high standard of written English. Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times. Gravitas to interact and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
