Our regional and national services serve a wider population of 2.2 million people.Position SummaryThe Physiotherapy service in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Acute is recruiting a combination of experienced and newly qualified physiotherapists to Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapy positions across the region. Candidates should be either finishing or have completed a degree in Physiotherapy and be in the process of gaining HCPC registration. Existing registered physiotherapists or students with NHS experience are also welcome; HCPC registration is required for current practitioners.Shift Pattern and Working HoursShift pattern: Five out of seven days a week, 08:30 – 16:30, plus on‑call duties.Note: Effective 1 April 2026, full‑time working hours for all Agenda for Change posts will be reduced to 36 hours.Rotation StructureRotations are initially six months long, increasing to nine months after two years. The service operates across three sectors – North, South and Clyde – each containing acute hospitals, community hospitals and primary care bases. Rotations cover a breadth of settings, including specialist services such as Burns and Plastics, the National Spinal Injuries unit, the West of Scotland Major Trauma unit and the Beatson Oncology Services.Career DevelopmentThere are constant opportunities to develop and progress your career across multiple settings in a supportive environment.
