Physiotherapist - SCS Community Paediatric Physiotherapy Service NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. An exciting opportunity has arisen within our excellent paediatric physiotherapy service. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our friendly and busy team. The post is within the North Sector of Specialist Children’s Service across NHSGGC. The post holder will be a physiotherapy graduate with experience of delivering therapy within the context of the NHS. Responsibilities Take responsibility for a designated clinical caseload and provide an effective physiotherapy input as part of the Specialist Children’s service. Assess, plan, implement and monitor physiotherapy treatment/management programmes for patients 0‑19 years in a variety of settings including child centre, home, nursery, school, and special school. Work within multi‑professional/agency settings to ensure co‑ordinated care for patients and carers. Participate in robust supervision and regular in‑service training for learning and development. Qualifications & Requirements Physiotherapy graduate with experience delivering therapy within the NHS. Car licence essential. Experience working in multi‑professional/agency settings desirable; paediatric physiotherapy experience not essential.
