We are a charity supporting families with young children through home-visiting and group work. Our trained volunteers provide regular practical and emotional support to families who are experiencing stressful or crisis situations, or need some help to give their children the best possible start in life. We have been running for 35 years.We are looking for a person with a strong belief in the value of volunteering to join our supportive team of six part-time employees. You will take responsibility for the effective recruitment, training, support and development of volunteers to help meet the demand for our home-visiting service. You will seek opportunities for promoting volunteering, and work to increase the diversity of our pool of volunteers.You will manage your own small caseload of families who are supported by a home-visiting volunteer.
