An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sourcing Manager with a strong background in IT procurement and supplier management to join a major financial services organisation on an initial 6-month contract.This role will play a key part in delivering strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management across a range of technology categories — including software licensing, hardware, cloud, infrastructure services and professional IT services. We do this by showcasing their talents, skills, and unique experience in an inclusive environment that helps them thrive.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver category and sourcing strategies across IT and technology services.Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including market analysis, RFPs, supplier selection and contract negotiation.Manage supplier relationships and governance processes to ensure performance, compliance and commercial value.Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders, influencing sourcing decisions and promoting best practice.Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives across the supply base.Key Skills & ExperienceProven experience in IT category management, technology sourcing, or procurement within large or regulated organisations.Strong commercial understanding of SaaS, cloud, and managed service agreements.Confident negotiator with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on cost efficiency and value creation.Knowledge of contractual risk management, compliance and governance frameworks.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Pontoon Solutions by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
