233730 R1 Specialist Dietitian - GI (AP) at NHS Scotland Base: The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh Post title: Specialist Dietitian - GI Salary Band: 6 Employment type: Fixed‑term (Contract) Job type: Allied Health Professions Hours of work: 37 per week Department: Dietetics Employer (NHS Board): NHS Lothian Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dietitian to join the Royal Infirmary dietetic team. This temporary post will work within the acute in‑patient dietetic team, with a particular clinical focus in supporting the GI ward. Responsibilities Provide dietary assessment, planning and monitoring for GI ward patients. Support acute in‑patient dietetic services and cooperate with other clinical specialties as required. Participate in student training (B & C placements). Support CPD, clinical governance and supervision framework through annual appraisals and peer support. Assist with the delivery of high quality care as part of a dedicated team. Qualifications & Requirements Membership/record in the PVG Scheme for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult). Experience in major trauma dietetic services is desirable. Legal permission to work in the United Kingdom. Commitment to team working within NHS Lothian.
