**Claims Handler**

**Location: Fareham**

**The Role**:
You will work as part of a team helping to manage a caseload of credit hire cases from FNOL through to settlement. You will work independently and also to support our Technical Claims Handlers, providing a first class service to our customers and work partners, assisting with making enquiries, investigations, and at all times driving towards the successful resolution of claims. You will make and assist with making important decisions at the FNOL stage and during the hire period.

Your day to day tasks will include dealing with new cases, managing our claims mailbox, monitoring claims and looking after our customers during the hire period, assisting with settling cases, negotiating liability, and liaising with parties involved while ensuring that all legal requirements are met. It will be high paced and varied. The credit hire landscape is ever changing, so there are always new areas to test and utilise your skills.

**What we are looking for**:
You will need to be enthusiastic and driven, with the ability to take an overview of a situation and work around any obstacles that arise.

**Essential requirements**:

- 3 years+ Credit Hire experience.
- The ability to self-motivate
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong customer service and communication skills
