Our Testing Office Administrator role will suit someone with 1 year minimum office administration experience who is enthusiastic and focused, with excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills. The role is based in our central York office.
Reporting to the Office Manager and Testing Manager, and working as part of the company administration teams, you will be responsible for the daily administrative duties within the testing department.
Key Tasks:
- Liaise with clients to book air tightness and acoustic tests
- Keep relevant spreadsheets updated with booking information
- Support UKAS, Elmhurst and all other relevant accreditations
- Support organising CSCS cards and Health and Safety Equipment
- Support ordering and coordination of PPE and Testing work wear
- Support arranging calibration of all equipment according to due dates
- Ensure legislation is adhered to and all documentation is in place
- Ensure all equipment is accounted for, labelled and maintained correctly
- Arrange invoicing in a timely manner
- Keep testers time bank up to date weekly
- Check Elmhurst certificates before issuing to client
- Create and maintain air tightness testing schedules for clients
- Produce acoustic test reports
- Organising hire vehicles and hotels as required
- Liaise with FES technical department/testers/sales/admin
- Ensure a positive and accommodating relationship with clients
- Direct decisions regarding prioritising tests etc. to the senior testing administrator and testing supervisor who can escalate accordingly
- Scanning and e-filing client records
