Heels & Brogues Group are currently working with a very established client in Stockton, who currently require 4 CNC Operative/Setters to join the team. This would suit individuals with previous CNC experience, looking to develop further in their career.

You will work on an initial 12-week Temporary Contract before moving over to the clients’ books on a Permanent basis.
- Reporting directly to the Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following:_
- The production of high-quality steel components via the operation of CNC Machining Centres, inclusive of:

- Setting and operating CNC machining centres to perform tasks such as drilling, tapping, Milling, boring etc.
- Following part setup sheets, engineering drawings and clear working instructions
- Using overhead cranes and lifting equipment to safely load steel parts onto machines, and move them within the working area
- Safely using hand tools and grinders to aid the production of steel components
- Competently using CNC cutting tools, such as milling cutters, drills, taps etc.
- Completing daily pre-operation and TPM check sheets
- Supporting first off checks and performing in batch checks as required, via the competent use of technical measuring equipment
- Full adherence to 5S practices
- Provide technical support to line management for incident and accident investigations and associated reporting and action closure
- Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviours expected of them
- Identify opportunities for business improvements within the organisation
- Any ad-hoc duties as required from time to time by the Production Supervisor or other members of the management team

You will be required to work either a 2 shift or 3 shift pattern - flexibility to meet the needs of the business is required.
