Cognition Learning Group is a global authority on education improvement entering a period of intensive growth in the United Kingdom. To support this, we are seeking individuals to join our UK based team to support in identifying and responding to tender opportunities across the UK and around the world. Your work will include building relationships internally and externally and bidding for work which is advertised through international journals, websites or which is sent to us directly from clients.

This is not a sales job and does not involve direct sales of any sort. We need people who are articulate, can work with the internal team to come up with great ideas, can write convincing stories and want to build a long-term career in bid/tender or proposal writing.

**What are my responsibilities?**
- You will be communicating our business capability and plans in attractive and compelling written bid documentation to help us generate winning proposals.
- You will be contributing to and implementing winning bid strategies and ensuring these are effectively communicated in our written responses.
- You will prepare, review and edit compelling tender documentation ensuring high levels of consistency and quality that captures our offer, provides an accurate baseline for future projects and incorporates lessons learned and mitigates company risks.
- You will work with our UK teams to challenge, refine and improve compliant winning bid responses that clearly articulate the key benefits and proposition.
- You will work with our business development coordinators to ensure tenders are produced in a timely fashion and will support and/or facilitate the ‘Storyboarding’ process.
- You will manage your own portfolio of bids and tenders & keep accurate records of bids & proposals submitted to clients.

**Key skills, qualities and experience**
- Have demonstrable and successful bid writing experience preferably within governments and education.
- Exceptionally high standard of both written and spoken communication skills with the ability to write convincing and persuasive content and simplify articulate concepts.
- Possess a good understanding of the way projects are managed and delivered in order to influence, monitor and challenge every aspect of the bid. i.e. project management, finance, education, planning, delivery and commercial inputs.
- Have experience coordinating ideas with senior stakeholders.
- Have a proactive, high achieving mentality with the ability to prioritise your workload and work under pressure to strict/tight deadlines,
- Be personable and able to build engagement and buy-in.

We would also consider Bids Writers, Bid Managers, Proposal Writers, Tender Writers, Proposal Coordinators, Tender Coordinators, and Business Development Writers.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
