Your new company
An ambitious and sector leading business services organisation based in Stoke on Trent. They are now recruiting for a Senior Buyer to join the team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, the Senior Buyer will partner the business to manage all procurement related activities. The role will support the development and implementation of key category strategies, review contracts and leading tender processes,as well as, monitoring and managing supplier performance. The Senior Buyer will also be responsible for processes all related procurement processes including creating suppliers, cataloguing and resolving supplier issues.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be a Buyer or Senior Buyer with experience of managing end-to-end procurement processes. You will have previous indirect procurement and contract management experience. You will have great communication skills, be well organised andhave a collaborative approach. Holding a CIPS qualification (or studying) is preferred.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 plus great benefits. The role will work on a hybrid basis.
