Our client has a global reputation as a first class manufacturer in their industry and now seek an experienced Credit Controller to oversee the day-to-day running of the company’s Sales Ledger.

The Credit Control role offers brilliant autonomy and future progression as the business continues to grow and meet it's trajectory targets.

**What will the role involve?**
- Responsibility for managing company debtor’s list and credit control.
- Daily reporting to the Directors of the company’s current, and forecast, cash position.
- Raising Pro-forma invoices and preparing statements as necessary.
- Pro-actively chasing invoices before they become due and clearing queries as quickly as possible.
- Raising credit notes as necessary.
- Maintaining and managing customer credit limits as laid out by the company’s credit insurer and calculating credit availability for sales orders.
- Preparing overseas invoice schedules for VAT purposes.
- Maintenance of the company’s stop list in liaison with the Financial Director.
- Daily management of invoice financing notifications.
- Undertaking monthly invoice financing reconciliation
- Experience: 3 years +
- AAT qualifications desirable
- Have a strong understand of bookkeeping and accounting procedures
- Have solid understanding of accounting software principles (Sage 50)
- Have strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Have high levels of accuracy and close attention to detail, willing to work as required to meet deadlines, particularly around period ends
- Excellent IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet browsers)
- Confidence in learning new systems
