Your new company
You will join the IT department of a well establish professional services organisation based in Guildford who are looking for a 2nd Line support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis, supporting around 500 internal users. You'll be joining an establishedIT team, working on site to maintain the strong reputation the company currently holds.
This a great opportunity for someone with existing support experience looking to further develop their skills - with career progression into management or progressing to become an Infrastructure Engineer/ specialist.
Your new role
The company operate a predominantly cloud based environment, but also have a good physical infrastructure presence. The role blends day to day troubleshooting with more project-based work as they continue to unify their infrastructure/systems.
What you will need
As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you will demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, able to build strong relationships with users internally and be passionate about providing a great user experience, whilst meeting SLAs.
You will have previous 2nd Line Support experience in a similar position, and be able to demonstrate your knowledge relating to:
Technical Skills
- Virtual desktop environments (Citrix)
- Azure Active Directory - Users, Groups, Permissions
- Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Skype for Business, MS Teams
- Networking - Patch Cables, VPN support (basic troubleshooting)
- Printer Hardware Support (PC support / iPad / Tablet etc)
- Routing / Switching - diagnosing issues and escalating to 3rd Line
- Windows Server - File Permissions, New Accounts

Any experience with InTune would be advantageous but is not essential.
- InTune iOS management through Company Portal
- InTune AutoPilot deployment for HP laptops running Windows 10
