- Manage daily operational issues related to customs compliance.
- Monitor import and export customs entries for accuracy.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures for Customs operations.
- Develop and coordinate internal regulatory compliance training.
- Implement and execute regulatory compliance audits.
- Support all customs compliance initiatives and competencies.
- Keep up to date on laws, regulation and practices affecting customs compliance.
- Provide customs compliance direction to staff and key internal stakeholders.
- Create KPI's to accurately measure and report on customs compliance related activities.

**Personal Specification of the Trade Compliance Lead (Customs Specialist)**:

- Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
- Customs Compliance experience.
- Experience within an AEO approved business.
- Good working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

**Hybrid working is available with minimum 3 days p/w in the office
