THIS IS A PERMANENT, FULL-TIME POSITION THIS POSITION IS BASED IN KENSINGTON APPLICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION CLOSE AT MIDDAY ON MONDAY, 5 JANUARY 2026 The Nature-based Tourism Division is the point of contact for departmental staff and the tourism industry to facilitate sustainable, nature and culture-based commercial tourism and attractions on national, marine and conservation parks and reserves managed by the Parks and Wildlife Service. We are currently seeking a Leasing Manager to join our team. The Leasing Manager oversees the department’s leasing team and leads the coordination of commercial operations managed under leases and access licences across lands managed by the department. This includes identifying and supporting revenue-generating opportunities associated with leases and access licences. The role also provides strategic and policy advice on lease and licence management and non-compliance and new commercial opportunities. In this role, you will be to help drive positive change. Selection CriteriaApplicants should address the following four (4) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than four (4) pages in total. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in interpreting and applying legislation relevant to natural resource management, parks management, and/or tourism, with practical experience in leasing, licensing, or similar regulatory frameworks. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise and consult effectively with a wide range of stakeholders who may have differing or competing interests. Proven leadership capabilities, including experience in supervising staff and managing a team focused on delivering high-quality customer service and achieving operational outcomes. Demonstrated strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with experience in negotiating and implementing innovative strategies across diverse revenue-generating activities.
