THE COMPANY

Boxpark delivers over 1,800 events a year across the three sites with cutting edge music concerts, the most electric Football Fanparks, mass participation fitness classes, Drag Brunches, Bingo, Lit Sync Battles, Poetry Nights, Fashion shows and we've even been known to have a bit of Mexican Wrestling within our programming all whilst capturing the content and distributing it from within house. 

THE ROLE

BOXPARK are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is willing to go above and beyond the box ticking of a normal day to day job for the Events and Social Media Department at one of our London sites. This role will include daytime, evening and weekend work. The role reports to the Head of Events & Social Media.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage social media and events operations including:

  • Assisting in the curation and booking of all talent, promoters and events, liaising with promoters alongside our existing events & operations team
  • Helping to coordinate events calendars including key, culturally relevant dates.
  • Contributing to curating cultural events from movie screenings to craft markets.
  • Supporting the delivery of sports fans zones and experiences with the operations team.
  • Working collaboratively on full social media campaigns
  • Community management of social media
  • Managing and assisting with the production and execution of events
  • Managing local business network relationships

THE CANDIDATE

  • Must have a firm understanding of the events and social media marketing landscape, excellent writing skills and the desire to learn.
  • Knowledge of social platforms in the context of strategy, maximising engagement and planning.
  • Keen interest in events, with the desire to take on all types of tasks within an events environment.
  • The successful candidate will be a confident, articulate and highly motivated person with a huge desire to learn.
