Role Overview:
We are looking for a London based outgoing Regional Operations Manager to join our dynamic team and work alongside our client, Apple In this client-facing role, you will act as the direct manager of a team of event planning professionals. You will collaborate with direct reports, colleagues, and clients to ensure our account team is exceeding expectations in operational excellence. This is a very high touch role which demands precision whilst being comfortable with ambiguity. You'll be the leader every person hopes to have by mentoring and supporting your team, and the leader every client wants to work with.
As a Regional Operations Manager, you will:
- Business Owner for Region, Regional Resources, Regional SOPs, and SLAs
- Lead Regional Operations - Innovate and lead operational efficiencies and strategies for the team
- Own Regional Partnerships with Preferred Partners and Travel Partners
- Collaborate with Training team for Training and Development of direct reports
- Manage Recruitment and Onboarding Process
- Oversee all elements of Team Management, Morale, and Administration
- Facilitate Meetings & Program Management including meeting assignments, budget review, and forecasting for events
- Be the face of the department in the region, connect regularly with business units to provide updates and education
- Align with Apple leadership and BCD Leadership regularly to drive strategy
- Support interdepartmental projects and initiatives
- Lead a team, including virtual people management
- Build relationships and collaborate, communicating at all levels, with people from different backgrounds
- Anticipate challenges and be a creative problem solver
- Work in a high touch, fast-paced environment
- Interpret data and provide recommendations for service improvement
- Collaborate on work tasks
You might also have:
- Experience with Apple suite of applications and products
- Knowledge of Cvent and/or Evedpay, or an acumen for new technology
- Proven experience in leading global event strategies
- A degree in Hospitality or related program
You should know:
- This is a hybrid role that requires a minimum of 2 days in our Apple Client office in London.
- Our standard working hours are 9:00 – 17:30 with an hour break
- You must have the right to work in the UK
- You must have the ability and willingness to travel in the UK and Overseas
