You don’t need to have worked in a school before, as full training and support will be offered. What matters most is your commitment to helping pupils feel safe, confident, and understood.What you’ll be doing Supporting pupils during lessons and wellbeing activities across the school day. Helping teachers adapt learning to suit individual needs and communication styles. Building trusting relationships and offering calm encouragement when challenges arise. Joining training sessions and shadowing experienced staff as part of your development. Who this role suits Graduates thinking about teaching, psychology, youth work, or social care as a long-term career. Someone who enjoys working with children and wants to learn more about SEN education. A patient, positive person who is comfortable taking guidance and trying new approaches.
