You’ll lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensure robust financial controls, and provide high-quality analysis to senior leadership.You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller, Head of FP&A, and Director of Finance to support thepany’s financial objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and finalise monthly management accounts to agreed deadlinesLead month-end close processes including journals, accruals, and reconciliationsDeliver variance analysis withmentary on performance vs budget/forecastMaintain general ledger integrity and ensurepliance with accounting policiesProduce management reports including KPIs and trend analysisSupport budgeting and forecasting cyclesProvide ad-hoc financial analysis for strategic projectsPartner with budget holders to improve performance and cost controlAssist with audits and ensurepliance with accounting standards and tax legislationMentor junior finance team members and drive process improvementsAbout YouEssential:ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or equivalent experience)Strong management accounting and financial analysis experienceAdvanced Excel and financial modelling skillsExcellentmunication and stakeholder managementHigh attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlinesDesirable:Experience in a PE-backed environment or service-based industryFamiliarity with Power BIKnowledge of IFRS/UK GAAPWhat’s on OfferExposure to private equity processesOpportunity to work closely with senior leadershipFlexible working arrangementsA collaborative and high-impact work environment
