Working within a supportive and professional finance team, you will play a key role in leading the management accounts process, improving financial reporting, and helping to professionalise operations as the business continues to expand.The RoleReporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the monthly management accounts across a multi-site group, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and insight. The business currently operates over 30 sites and has ambitious plans to double in size over the next five to six years through a mix of organic growth and acquisitions.Key responsibilitiesRunning the management accounts function and leading the month-end closePreparing balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysisSupporting year-end and audit processesProviding group accounting across multiple sitesStreamlining and improving reporting timetablesAssisting with tax compliance and supporting commercial decision-makingInvestigating and resolving accounting issues, keeping stakeholders informedThis is a hands-on Management Accountant role where you will make a visible impact, working closely with the senior team to drive continuous improvement and deliver meaningful insights.About YouYou will be a confident and capable Management Accountant who enjoys taking ownership and responsibility.
