About the Role: As the Pastoral Lead Officer, you will play a key role in promoting a positive school culture, supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social needs, and working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure every student feels safe, supported, and empowered to succeed. Key Responsibilities: Lead on pastoral care strategies across the school Provide one-to-one and group support for students facing challenges Monitor attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding concerns Liaise with parents/carers and external support services Support the implementation of behaviour and wellbeing policies Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive school environment The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working in a pastoral or student support role (school or youth setting) Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build trust and rapport with young people A proactive, empathetic, and resilient approach Why Join This School?
