Actual Annual Salary: £33,951 - £36,222 based on hours and weeks worked.

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £39,649 - £42,301 (CLF Grade F) based on full time hours, all year round. 

Contract: Permanent, Full Time, Term Time only + inset days

Hours: Full-Time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Provisional Start Date: As soon as possible

We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Lead to join our team, taking on key Head of House responsibilities to drive a culture of care, inclusion, and achievement. In this pivotal role, you will lead on pastoral provision, champion student wellbeing, and work collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies to ensure every student feels supported and empowered. About you:

You will have:

• Advanced knowledge of safeguarding practices within an educational setting, including legislation and guidance that inform child protection and student welfare.
  
• Proven experience working with young people, particularly those with SEMH needs, and the ability to implement strategies that improve engagement and achievement.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build positive relationships with students, families, staff, and external agencies.
  
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, enabling you to prioritise workloads, lead meetings, and respond effectively to challenging situations.
  
• A commitment to inclusion and equality, with the resilience and enthusiasm to support diverse communities and improve life chances for all students.
